配合「新南向政策」，「來自天方的仙工—南亞美玉」特展即日起至至107年7月29日於故宮南院專題展廳推出，以故宮珍藏伊斯蘭玉器中最精美的蒙兀兒玉器為主，印度非蒙兀兒地區的玉器為輔的124組件作品，邀請民眾欣賞在乾隆皇帝心中「是仙工，也是鬼工」的極致玉雕之美。
本次重點展件包含受到乾隆皇帝讚譽、賦詩且鐫刻詩文於瓶身的〈墨瓶筆室〉，光澤清亮，造型特殊精巧。以及〈瓜瓣杯〉，可於舉杯暢飲之時，讓器底美麗的葵花浮雕映入對飲者眼簾，低調卻奢華。另以兩面淺浮雕花葉紋的碧綠玉組裝而成的〈古蘭經架〉，張合自如、設計精巧，表達帝王貴族對信仰致敬的情懷。還有富含華麗裝飾風格的印度玉器〈玉柄斧形金絲扇〉、〈卡達短劍〉、〈嵌金絲單柄大罐〉等，以金色元素點綴出貴氣十足的明星風範。
西元十七世紀蒙兀兒帝國國勢強盛，玉雕藝術蓬勃發展，成為工藝的主流，也是帝王貴族的必要生活品。由於蒙兀兒玉器備受乾隆青睞，新疆、土耳其等所謂「印度土邦」受到鼓舞也爭相仿作。本特展即以此歷史脈絡分為三單元；第一單元「蒙兀兒帝國—千姿百態」，介紹玉器是如何被充分運用在蒙兀兒帝王貴族生活的各個層面；第二單元「大清帝國—乾隆寶愛」，從御製詩了解乾隆皇帝的美學觀，是文物亦是文獻，相當富有歷史價值；第三單元「印度土邦—利之所拜」，非典型蒙兀兒風格的印度玉器，反映印度土邦在蒙兀兒文化影響下，發展出伊斯蘭玉器的新風潮。
2017超星圖書館黑客松，將於下週六3月11日、12日，世新大學圖書館將首度舉行的台灣圖書館界黑客松，在連續兩天的活動，將引導參加者一同腦力激盪，並期望能帶動圖書館之風氣。
黑客松（Hackathon）其實是由黑客和馬拉松（Hack + Marathon）組合而成，其意義就是希望藉由群眾的相互交流，思想碰撞之後，能創造更多的概念發想。此次由世新大學圖書館舉辦的黑客松，為台灣圖書館界首度舉行之黑客松，吸引各方好手齊聚一堂，報名的資格相當開放，不管是學生、上班族、研究人員等，只要是對黑客松有興趣的人都能報名參加。
目前2017超星圖書館黑客松的報名活動尚未截止，活動中以小組為單位，分為演講和實際運作的兩大區塊，而實際運作中，最特別的就是競賽活動，此競賽方式要在32小時之內，以圖書館為一主體，以行動來改變圖書館的風貌。競賽中獲得首獎的組別，可以得到新台幣一萬五千元以及獎狀，而貳獎和三獎的得主，除了能得到獎狀之外；獎金的部分，分別為新台幣一萬元整以及新台幣五千元整。
世新大學圖書館館長葉乃靜表示，相當鼓勵大家多參與類似的活動，在參加活動之餘，也能拓展人脈，其實黑客松在台灣已有相當的歷史，在台灣各大學院校所主辦的黑客松不勝枚舉，例如台灣大學、政治大學、交通大學等，都曾舉辦過黑客松活動，大學生在打工、讀書、忙社團之餘，不妨給自己一個機會，或許在參與黑客松中，能帶給自己嶄新的想法。
